PARENT/CAST NOTE

IMPORTANT SHOW CLOSING NOTE:

Today (Sunday) is the one time that we encourage parents to come to the dressing room area, following the show.  Your child will have clean up responsibilities as a cast member.  No cast member will be released to go home until their dressing area is completely cleaned.  You may help by coming to the dressing room and taking out all the cast member's personal clothing and personal items.  The cast member will then take any costumes that were provided to them to the upstairs hallway to place on the racks.  Then cast members will assist in cleaning up their dressing room.  NO CAST MEMBER MAY LEAVE UNTIL THEIR DRESSING ROOM HAS BEEN CLEAN  AND   CLEARED BY A STAFF PERSON.  IF THEY ARE IN A DOWNSTAIRS DRESSING ROOM, THAT STAFF PERSON IS SHERYL NEELY.  UPSTAIRS DRESSING ROOMS MUST BE CLEARED BY TRACYE CAUGHELL.

It's been a marvelous run.  A big thank you to all the parents who committed mega numbers of hours of volunteer time to make it happen!  It's corny, but true....
We're All In This Together!

Feeding the Crew

NOTE: Now that we're in production week, we need people to bring food for the backstage crew and orchestra. There are about 40 people we are feeding Monday-Sunday. If you can bring something, please sign up on the sheets on the back door at the community center. Anything you can bring will be appreciated! Thanks!

If you can't find the sheets, email Beth at bethdegeer@yahoo.com and let me know what you are bringing and when you are bringing it. Thanks!

Production Week Schedules

Production week schedules have been posted on the Cast/Parent page. They have also been distributed, but if you didn't get one, check there.

Painting and Set Construction

We are working feverishly at the Community Center to complete building and painting of sets.  It has been great to have cast members join in with painting help, but we are now needing to hone down the number of bodies in the construction area, so we can work more efficiently.  So, we do not want cast members assisting in the evenings, unless you are there with a parent who is working and have been given a specific task.

Producer Note

We are moving in to the Community Center on Friday afternoon!
The first cast rehearsal is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 3pm.
While the cast is rehearsing with the Pit Band, we will have a PARENT MEETING at 3pm in the
Community Center Auditorium.  Come and sit in rows P, Q, R.  We will have an additional handout with more detailed instructions for production week...along with a chance for you to ask question.  I need a parent present for each cast family.  See you there!
